1. Bookings, payments and cancellations
1.1. Bookings and inquiries can be made via phone +372 6 661 650 (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm) or via email info@redgroup.eu 24/7. RED Group Apartments is not obliged to keep the offered apartments on hold for you without pre-payment, i.e. they can be offered to other clients simultaneously;
1.2. Bookings can be made by Customers at least 18 years of age;
1.3. In order to confirm the booking, RED Group requires pre-payment of 125 EUR, which can be made by credit card, via bank transfer or in cash. In case of foreign remittance a one-time bank fee of 6 EUR (90 EEK) will be added;
1.4. The remaining balance is due on arrival in cash (EUR or LVL);
1.5. Pre-payment (less processing fee of 25 EUR per apartment and the bank fees) will be reimbursed in case the cancellation is made at least 14 (fourteen) days prior to arrival. In case of group bookings (3 or more apartments), pre-payment (less processing fee of 25 EUR per apartment and the bank fees) will be reimbursed in case the cancellation is made at least 28 (twenty eight) days prior to arrival. In order to avoid any expenses incurred for a cancelled trip we advise you to buy proper travel insurance.
2. Rates
2.1. All rates published on www.redgroup.eu are subject to change without prior notice;
2.2. Published prices include bed linen and towels (one big and one small per person) according to the number of people;
2.3. Published prices include prior and final cleaning;
2.4. Published prices include cable TV, electricity, water, heating and gas;
2.5. High seasons are Dec 23 2007 - Jan 6 2008; Easter, April 1 – Sept 30 2008 (minimum stay during high season is 3 nights).
3. Check-in and Check-out
3.1. Check-in starts at 2pm (possible earlier depending on the departure time of the previous client). Late check-in fee of 20 EUR applies to Customers who arrive 20:00- 00:00, 30 EUR applies to Customers who arrive after 00:00;
3.2. Check-out is at 12am (possible later depending on the arrival time of the next client).
4. Obligations of Tenants when checking in to the apartment
4.1. Paying the balance;
4.2. Informing the check-in assistant about the time of departure.
5. Obligations of Tenants when using the apartment
5.1. to use the Apartment for intended purposes and to keep it in order;
5.2. to use water and electricity economically;
5.3. to inform the management immediately about disorders/damages or emergency situations in the Apartment or in the house on +371 73 25 435;
5.4. to follow fire safety and sanitary requirements;
5.5. to keep the Apartment and publicly used rooms (staircase) and territory of the house clean and tidy;
5.6. to close and lock the Apartment door and outer doors properly at all times. In case the Tenant leaves the apartment unlocked, he/she is financially responsible for the costs that derive from possible burglary;
5.7. it is strictly forbidden to make excessive noise (loudly playing radio, TV set or any other device, loud musical instrument or singing, use of electrical appliances, jumping, hammering etc.) from 11pm to 7am. Noise must be kept to a minimum at all times. In case this rule is violated the Tenant(s) may be asked to move out of the Apartment in which case the paid rent will not be refunded. Violation of this rule can result in fees and penalties;
5.8. it is strictly forbidden to have parties in the Apartment. Violation of this rule will result in fees and penalties;
5.9. it is forbidden to keep air polluting things/objects/chemicals or explosive substances in the Apartment or publicly used places;
5.10. it is forbidden to let poisonous or easily flammable fluids or sewage, or things which can clog it up, get into house sewerage;
5.11. it is forbidden to leave things that can hamper in the staircase;
5.12. it is forbidden to clean or fluff carpets, cloths etc in staircase, from balconies or windows;
5.13. it is forbidden to throw garbage on the territory of the house, to pollute publicly used places;
5.14. it is forbidden to park vehicles on pavements and on the territory of the house in such way which does not allow pedestrians to move freely (at least one metre should be left for walking);
5.15. any complaints have to be communicated immediately.
6. Obligations of Tenants when checking out of the Apartment
6.1. To leave at 12:00 on departure date or at other time specified with check-in assistant;
6.2. The apartment has to be left in good condition. In case the Apartment needs extra cleaning the costs will be charged from the Tenant;
6.3. To turn off all the lights, electrical appliances and gas stove/oven;
6.4. To close all windows;
6.5. To lock all doors and return the keys as agreed previously with our representative. In case the Tenant leaves the Apartment unlocked, he/she is financially responsible for the costs that derive from possible burglary.
7. Responsibility of Tenants
7.1. Tenants are responsible for the costs that derive from misuse of alarm system;
7.2. Tenants are financially responsible for any damages/losses caused by his/her or third party’s negligent behaviour. RED Group has the right to inform the Tenant of any damages/losses in 7 (seven) days after the departure of Tenant;
7.3. Tenants are responsible for any injuries caused to Tenant by himself/herself or third party during his/her stay in the apartment;
7.4. Tenants are obliged to pay for the phone calls made by themselves (in case there is a phone in the Apartment);
7.5. Tenants are financially responsible in case of losing or not returning the keys as previously agreed with check-in assistant. The cost of changing the lock will be charged from Tenant;
7.6. Cash deposit in amount of 50-100 EUR is required on arrival. The deposit is reimbursed at check-out in case there is no damage caused in the Apartment and the rent is paid.
8. Responsibility of RED Group
8.1. RED Group is acting as intermediary booking apartments in Riga;
8.2. RED Group is responsible for confirming the pre-paid bookings;
8.3. In case the confirmed apartment is out-of-use for the period reserved due to circumstances beyond RED Group’s control, RED Group is obliged to do their best to change the booking into another apartment(s) of the same value;
8.4. RED Group is responsible for sending information given by the Tenant about his/her arrival details to Riga in order to arrange transfer for Tenant from arrival point to the apartment, in case the Tenant has ordered the transfer;
8.5. RED Group is responsible for sending information given by the Tenant about his/her arrival details to Riga in order to arrange the keys of the apartment to be handed over to the Tenant;
8.6. RED Group is responsible for sending the Tenant’s contact information to Riga;
8.7. RED Group can not be held responsible for any circumstances beyond their control including, but not limited to, mechanical breakdown or failure of any public or other service supply (internet, cable/satellite/digi TV, water/electricity supply);
8.8. RED Group is not responsible for possible defects in the apartment(s). Any complaints have to be communicated immediately to customer service in Riga at +371 73 25 435.
RED Group has the right to change or upgrade its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
